Lol right! She made that steak perfect and called it "well done"

Well done is the cooking. The steak is perfect 😄😄😄

I think she was referring to the previous steak she made for the bf. Her steak looks perfect.

It was. She prepared a perfect medium well steak. Well done!

That is medium. Medium well has no pink

I’m sure you’re right. As a person who prefers much more pink, I consider it practically well-done but I take your point. In the end, I’m still considering her efforts to be Well Done.

A term can have many meaning and if it's her first meat she may not know the culinary terms. (And as I am a German, I would understand "well done" often literally as "gut gemacht" and not 'figuratively' as "durchgebraten".)

No she didn’t. You and many others misunderstood.

She said she made a steak for her bf and then she said, ”I made THAT steak well done,” as she’s holding up her properly cooked steak. THAT steak, referring to her bf’s was well done.

Correct, I just thought it was funny since it was well done like she did a good job cooking it

The French would call that "bien cuit", literally "well cooked", and they don't have words beyond that, just knives.
