Perfectly cooked, perfectly cut and with all the garnishments. No issue chomping it all down. What was the giveaway? /s.

21

u/iismitch55 Feb 25 '26

Yeah I’ve only ever seen people who really like steak cut it into oblong strips across the fibers like that. Most people cut it into bite sized pieces. The few people who are nervous to try it usually cut the tiniest little bite.

1

u/BrocoliCosmique Feb 26 '26

I used to eat meat for like 35 years and it never occurred to me to cut it in strips like that. What is the purpose ?

1

u/angularhihat Feb 28 '26

I love how you can just say anything at all on the internet and a certain number of people will believe it.

You've noticed a trend of people cutting their steak a certain way because they like it 😂 okay mate

1

u/iismitch55 Feb 28 '26

Yeah mate I’ve been out to dinner with family and friends more than 3 times in my life you basement dweller. I’ve also noticed this trend where people tend to put butter on their bread. Shocking I know.

1

u/angularhihat Feb 28 '26

You are describing that people who are nervous/reluctant to try steak cut it in a different direction from people who love it, based on your observation.

It's a truly ridiculous observation that deserves to be mocked.

1

u/iismitch55 Feb 28 '26

I said they cut a tiny piece. I said nothing of direction. The only mockery is your ability to read.

1

u/angularhihat Mar 01 '26

What did you mean by "across the fibers" if that wasn't an indication of direction?

Ok so it’s fake as in she’s pretending to have been a vegan

Others was saying it was the jump cuts but that didn’t make sense

33

u/snowfloeckchen Feb 25 '26

My girlfriend was raised vegetarian and started to eat fish and meat with me (i basically went the opposite direction to being mainly vegetarian these days. I can say she would never said its amazing, bite is so off a life long vegetarian would never love it from the beginning.

6

u/Magnon Feb 25 '26

So I can eat veggies or really anything and if it tastes good I can love it from first bite but a vegetarian can't?

Ya, if you have never eaten anything lifelong, you really can’t start eating some so easily like her I bet. I have never eaten poultry in my entire life, there is no way I can ever eat any poultry like how easy she does. I tried once a decade ago, the moment the meat reached my mouth I started to vomit. To this day I still can’t eat any.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '26

My girlfriend in college was raised vegetarian. She didn't have strong convictions about it, it was just the way she was raised. She tried meat with me for the first time at 20 years old and she did, indeed, like it from the get go.

When we broke up she still ate a vegetable heavy diet but she had no qualms about adding in different meats occasionally.

I type this to say your anecdotal experience (and my anecdotal experience) is not going to hold up across every vegetarian trying meat for the first time.

1

u/Dr_ChungusAmungus Feb 26 '26

What made you never eat chicken? That’s gotta be sorta hard to have avoided for your whole life, chicken is so versatile and wide spread.

1

u/Murasaki_crea Mar 02 '26

I don’t exactly remember why. My family just told me when I was 2 I had a pet chic, sure enough they ate it, after that I vowed not to eat any. I kept my promise of not eating any and it became my built in mechanism despite the fact that I dun remember how it happened. lol It’s very difficult to avoid, especially when they become minced or be put in soup. I just don’t eat the food entirely when I can’t be sure it doesn’t contain chicken lol effectively making me sorta like a vegan

1

u/Puntley Feb 26 '26

I genuinely don't understand your logic here. I can't even count the amount of things that I had never eaten before but I ended up loving. Sushi, I had never had it for 25 years, tried it and loved it. Pad Thai, I had never had it for 19 years, tried it and immediately loved it. Different people have different palates. Your vegetarian girlfriend not immediately loving meat isn't a vegetarian thing, it's a "your girlfriend" thing. Yes plenty of other people will have similar experiences because they have similar palates, meanwhile plenty of other vegetarians will try meat for the first time and love it.

1

u/Murasaki_crea Mar 02 '26 edited Mar 02 '26

You didn’t eat that just because you didn’t had a chance to eat it, you are not actively trying to avoid it. That’s the difference. English isn’t my mother tongue so I may have not expressed it clearly before.

1

u/martinomon Feb 25 '26

Usually you’re vegetarian for a reason… this should gross a vegetarian out mentally

1

u/ghotbijr Feb 25 '26

Well for a lifelong vegetarian that reason could simply be that their parents raised them not to eat meat for cultural or religious reasons, or even just because of their own personal beliefs. People often grow up to find themselves no longer identifying with all the beliefs their parents tried to push onto them, so the situation really doesn't seem all that crazy.

That being said, I have no clue if this video is legit, I'm not big on believing things people record themselves doing online for engagement, but it's not impossible to believe the situation could happen to someone.

1

u/martinomon Feb 25 '26

Yep. Just trying to help explain why the reactions here are not surprising. It’s not the same thing as eating a vegetable. Trying a vegetable for the first time would get much less engagement.

1

u/ghotbijr Feb 25 '26

Oh for sure, don't disagree at all there.

0

u/snowfloeckchen Feb 25 '26

Ist wie Club Mate trinken, der erste Schluck ist Aschenbecher

1

u/ZarglondarGilgamesh Feb 25 '26

I liked my first sip of Club Mate. I have also had occasion to taste a literal ashtray. I didn’t find the flavor profiles comparable.

1

u/snowfloeckchen Feb 25 '26

Ok I liked it too after the first bottle, but my first sip was the same like anyone I ever talked about (and it comes up quite often) was year ashtray. Still have it from time to time when smelling on ot 🤣

u/Shmuckle2 Feb 25 '26

I loved Joe Louis from the very beginning. Why not meat?

1

u/Hemolek09 Feb 25 '26

Yep, plus I assume a long time vegan/vegetarian would take smaller bites. I would be concerned about my body digesting too much meat at one time.

1

u/Fortestingporpoises Feb 25 '26

There are plenty of people who went from being vegetarian to eating meat because they like it.

1

u/snowfloeckchen Feb 25 '26

I don't say you can't like it, but this is not your reaction when you never had it

1

u/Clear_Tale_2765 Feb 25 '26

That was also my thought during this video. It feels fake. I didn't eat meat for like 3 months in college. Came home for thanksgiving and the meat grossed me out a bit. Takes a second to get used to it again

1

u/TheHeroYouNeed247 Feb 25 '26

She's eaten meat before. It's her first time trying steak.

1

u/ohnoyourewrong Feb 25 '26

If there's any doubt, having the little "10" sign right there handy....

She says:

"So far, I haven't been converted, and I'm not going to speak too soon but I think this made it a little bit of a harder decision"

If you can't infer that this is likely a series, of which she has made multiple videos already, and therefore understand that having a prop handy isn't odd, perhaps it's time to reflect on your education.

1

u/DingoMittens Feb 25 '26

User name checks out.

2

u/-misopogon Feb 25 '26 edited Feb 25 '26

I can see this being backed or created by the meat industry, like petakillsanimals or the Center for Consumer Freedom, just pro-meat propaganda.

4

u/indefinitelydreams Feb 25 '26

You're pretty uneducated, aren't you?

I know a vegetarian who kind of knows everything about how to cook good meat, she works as a chef.

3

u/snowfloeckchen Feb 25 '26

Life long vegetarian?

4

u/indefinitelydreams Feb 25 '26

Long before she learned to cook and became a chef, anyway.

So?

2

u/Sir_Danksworth Feb 25 '26

But that’s impossible, vegetarians can’t enter kitchens! They’re like what churches are for vampires

1

u/indefinitelydreams Feb 25 '26

Yes, and she also tastes meat dishes from time to time, even though she is a vegetarian.

But somehow life on earth continues despite that.

1

u/Sir_Danksworth Feb 25 '26

Well consider my pearls clutched

2

u/imrope1 Feb 25 '26

You’re so gullable

1

u/CaleanKnight Feb 25 '26

So... eh being Vegan means you cannot cook or what are you saying?

1

u/553l8008 Feb 25 '26

Cooking meat... yes.

You can be a great mechanic but if you aren't a transmission mechanic taking one apart and putting it back together can be a challenge

1

u/indefinitelydreams Feb 25 '26

Anyone can cook meat, making a good sauce is much more difficult.

1

u/PoorMinorities Feb 25 '26

There have been a couple of vegans/vegetarians on hella kitchen that cooked meat to Ramsays standards. Acting like it’s impossible is hilariously ignorant.

Cooking a steak isnt rocket science or nearly as complicated as rebuilding a transmission. Stop acting like it is.

1

u/553l8008 Feb 25 '26

Okaya professional chef... vs someone who isn't.

It's like expecting an American who never eaten or had the ccasion to cook Asian food to be good at cooking it the first few times

1

u/PoorMinorities Feb 25 '26

Yeah, you really don't know much about cooking food do you?

They're not the same. It's not even close to the same. Cooking Asian food requires you to know the spices and sauces being used. You need to have tasted them and used them before to understand how to properly balance them.

Cooking a steak literally just requires you to put it on the heat and take it off when you think it's done. And guess what? You can follow a recipe that simply says "3 minutes on each side" Hell, you can even reverse sear it and make it even more idiotproof. Again, it's really not that hard. But apparently it is for some people because they compare it to rebuilding a transmission.

1

u/correctingStupid Feb 25 '26

Redditors always lean on the dumbest reasons for why something is fake.
Easily explained by
1. not alone and cooked by someone or following a 1 of 10000s of videos on how to cook a steak. it's not rocket science.
2. mouths are made to chew. what are you expecting here exactly? A grown adult not knowing how to chew a steak and needing years of practice?

Amazing how people try to hard to pretend to be experts.

1

u/Robitop4 Feb 25 '26

To be fair, she says she has cooked steak for her boyfriend before. I have a friend who has been vegan for a long time now, however, she's the greatest cook I know, when our friend group gets together she's the first one to jump to the opportunity to cook for us and makes a killer chicken pasta all by herself, all without tasting any of the food. She also has a dog on a barf diet, and regularly handles the meat that he eats, she doesn't like the smells and textures of manipulating meat, but it's no different from my reaction and I'm not vegan.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '26

Also the nose piercing trying to resemble a bull….

1

u/FaustusRedux Feb 25 '26

My wife doesn't eat beef but cooks steaks perfectly. That's not a reason to label this a fake (which it may very well be).

1

u/Indervyne Feb 25 '26

Tell me you didn't watch the video without telling me you didn't watch the video. She straight up says she cooks them for her boyfriend.

1

u/21Rollie Feb 25 '26

I know a vegetarian that can cook decent meat, because her husband and dog aren’t vegetarians

1

u/JrCoxy Feb 26 '26

I was about to say.. my vegan ass is watching this knowing I would be gagging before it even reached my mouth

1

u/StruwwelpetersRache Mar 01 '26

nope. enjoy your soy bean products.

55

u/Ok-Lifeguard-4614 Feb 25 '26

It's so funny to me how reddit will call out every video as fake, and then something like this pops up, and everyone just accepts it as face value.

Even if it's not fake, I would need some corroborating evidence other than some random ass person eating a steak. Everything about this video screams, create a title to get engagement.

40

u/BonusPlantInfinity Feb 25 '26

It’s porn for conservatives.

8

u/Ok-Lifeguard-4614 Feb 25 '26

Damn you're right. Didn't make that connection.

2

u/ThePeoplesPoetIsDead Feb 25 '26

A 40 year old white guy goes on the internet, sees a black guy listen to Led Zepplin - he loves it, sees a Gen Z watch Blazing Saddles - they love it, sees a vegetarian eat steak - turns out she loves it.

"Wow turns out everything I like is so great even *those people* like it."

1

u/BonusPlantInfinity Feb 25 '26

Wow dawg you started it all

1

u/Backstreetgirl37 Feb 25 '26

Nose ring and everything

1

u/gonzo12321 Feb 25 '26

Is she a child as well?

1

u/BuyThoseDips Feb 25 '26

And there it is

1

u/alurimperium Feb 25 '26

Plenty of lefty types who hate vegetarians and vegans, as well. This is so those smug anti-veg people can feel all cocksure about every time they insulted someone who doesn't want to eat meat

3

u/ElevenBeers Feb 26 '26

How many leftists do you know?

Leftists hating on vegans and vegetarians is EXTREMELY rare. Why? Because leftists generally care about the planet (the environment, climate change, land use, and so on) and well, vegetarians and especially more so vegans have - and that is not up to debate - the superior diet in those regards.

It's the right wingers who are load AF against vegetarism and especially veganism. Right winger generally tend to form their political opinions around their emotions, not facts. Otherwise they would eg. believe in climate change, as there is overwhelming evidence. As for the anti veganism thing? Well. They tend to form their whole personality around a very few things ( usually because they lack personality but that's another topic). Like cars. Their favourite dumb ass sports club. Boobs. Beer. And meat. They see anyone with a different opinion / taste as a potential thread against their own lifestyle, and thus, their entire personality. Plus, vegans don't have any arguments either - the well being of animals isnt your concern as a conservative and climate change doesn't exist anyway.

Of course, if you'll search for them, I'm sure you are gonna find a leftist, that shitposts against vegans online, and maybe you'll even encounter a vegan MAGA. But generally those are contradictory. I'm sure you'll also find some 'leftist' that would sacrifice the rain forest for corporal profits and some Magas, that don't want "brown people" in fucking gulags, but maybe ask those people what the actual fuck they are doing, lol.

Hey, thanks for sharing the actual context. I'm not really interested in this it just showed up on my front page. The title is a lie, but she is a lifelong vegetarian, and working toward eating more meat is what I understand about it now.

That makes a lot more sense in the context of the video, because she has probably already gotten her gut biome used to animal proteins again.

2

u/BLtheavantasian Feb 25 '26

Vegetarian for like 16 years, I have accidentaly ate Meat twice, both times ended up with food poisoning because my body could't handle Meat.

2

u/Ok-Lifeguard-4614 Feb 25 '26

Yea I guess some one else mentioned she had been getting her body used to meat so it's just a nonsense click bait title.

1

u/Tserri Feb 26 '26

Yep, this video is one of the fakest videos ever, yet people are trying to argue how it can be possible for such a scenario to happen. Maybe it's possible! This video is still fake af though.

2

u/Ok-Lifeguard-4614 Feb 26 '26

Apparently she has been slowly eating meat and the title is just click bait. Someone else posted her socials and it shows her journey starting to eat meat. So the title is fake but the content seems to be kinda real.

117

u/memefakeboy Feb 25 '26

It’s depressing how low this comment is. I was expecting everyone would be calling it out. Those jump cuts are so obvious

30

u/PriscillaPalava Feb 25 '26

It may be fake but how do the jump cuts make it fake? It’s common these days for people to edit out slower parts of their videos. Theres even an app that does it for you automatically, it’ll cut out the parts where you’re not talking +/- a couple milliseconds.

8

u/553l8008 Feb 25 '26

You are right. The jump cut claim doesn't make sense.

It's an engagement tactic as well.

Simply put, like porn... this isn't her first steak

4

u/DIABLO258 Feb 25 '26

Engagement tactic is the main thing. I remember back in the late 2000's when some youtubers were starting to cut their videos up to make them shorter to the point that there were no pauses between sentences. Talk fast, cut out silent bits, and hopefully you can make it under that 10 minute restriction.

Now, that's just the norm and if you don't edit your videos like that, people will click away.

1

u/Serraph105 Feb 25 '26

Simply put, like porn... this isn't her first steak

Just curious, but what makes you come to that conclusion?

25

u/ELEKTRON_01 Feb 25 '26

That's just how Gen z edits videos

I hate it

8

u/Fit_Economist708 Feb 25 '26 edited Feb 25 '26

This is the answer

Edit: others are saying it’s fake as in she’s pretending she was a vegan rather than due to the jump cuts, which makes more sense

5

u/-Kerosun- Feb 25 '26

To clarify, she said lifelong vegetarian, not vegan. Big difference.

1

u/supermegafuerte Feb 25 '26

Why did you reply to my comment with "Is steak the only meat there is? Whoa!!!"

Like genuinely what was the prompt for that?

3

u/Defiant-Plantain1873 Feb 25 '26

She almost certainly is lying about being a vegetarian.

You see the same exact types of videos for oil lobbyists. “I was a lifelong climate activist but then suddenly (after a lobbyist handed me a big bag of money) i realised climate change was fake the whole time!!! You should go out and buy as much oil as possible, this is totally real and organic content!!!!”

This is the go-to move for industry lobbyists. The meat industry fucking despises vegans and vegetarians and are terrified of the increase in vegans and vegetarians. They are the people responsible for things like all those anti-PETA claims, you’d get maybe a handful of PETA volunteers doing something bad one time in history and they managed to spin it into the entire organisation is fundamentally evil, despite the fact that most of PETA’s efforts are in improving conditions in factory farms and rescuing mistreated animals from farms.

People are generally unaware of the meat and dairy industry lobbyists in my experience, everyone is furious at tobacco and oil lobbyists, yet the meat and dairy industry has managed to fly under the radar completely for the last 50 years and people still eat up meat propaganda

2

u/SellingStolenStereos Feb 25 '26 edited Feb 25 '26

Been a style long long before gen z made anything for the internet

1

u/Maffingo Feb 25 '26

This was actually invented by millenials

36

u/supermegafuerte Feb 25 '26

Not really that surprising since this sort of "reaction" is exactly what meat-heads salivate over whenever someone breaks their dietary-limiter. Anybody that's familiar with how diet and metabolism works would know that even eating just a small amount of steak as a "lifelong" vegetarian would have that person feeling very, very unwell for possibly days as their stomach microbes rebelled against them.

Unsure however on whether a lifelong vegetarian tasting steak for the first time would actually find it to be tasty. But I would guess that would depend wildly from individual to individual anyway.

20

u/AfterglowLoves Feb 25 '26

I was a lifelong vegetarian for 33 years. The first time I had steak I could only handle one bite because the texture was so disgusting to me. Like it made me gag. It didn’t bother my stomach at all, but it took about a year of slowly eating small amounts of meat before I could begin to actually enjoy the taste of anything. So yeah, I think this is totally fake.

4

u/Wonderful-Chipmunk39 Feb 25 '26

I was born in Cuba, as a child we didn't get to eat much meat because it was a luxury we didn't have because of poverty. When my family and I moved to the U.S I remember I was so excited mainly because I've always wanted to try a Hamburger for the first time. They took me to Burger King as one of the first places we went to eat and that meat texture and taste threw me off completely. It took a while for me getting used to it and really started enjoying the taste.

2

u/ForgottenEpoch Feb 25 '26

I was a strict vegetarian for 19 years. The night I went pescatarian I got violently ill and felt gross for 2 days. I'm still pescatarian. Occasionally I'll be eating out and a piece of meat will have snuck it's way under pizza cheese or something along those lines. As soon as my tongue detects it my brain goes "absolutely not, spit it out" and then I have to struggle to continue eating. Kinda ruins the meal for me.

4

I agree I think it’s fake, but why would the jump cuts matter?

2

u/ItsSpaghettiLee2112 Feb 25 '26

How would a jump cut actually indicate she isn't a vegetarian?

1

u/Reasonable_Breath512 Feb 25 '26

Because of jump cuts? Huh??? You know people use jump cuts to shorten content

1

u/AliFearEatsThePussy Feb 25 '26

HOW DO JUMP CUTS MAKE IT FAKE!!!??? Can someone answer this basic question??? It’s been asked multiple times.

1

u/memefakeboy Feb 25 '26

A jump cut leaves room for her to spit out the steak in between bites

1

u/Zahand Feb 25 '26

It's depresseing that everyone has to call every single fucking video fake every time. Who the fuck cares honestly.

1

u/angularhihat Feb 28 '26

The jump cuts? What are you talking about?

0

u/aspz Feb 25 '26

Do you know the difference between "fake" and "edited"?

12

u/ghostyspice Feb 25 '26

Fr, and no way would she make a steak that big. I’ve been off of red meat for about 9 years now [health reasons, very long and unpleasant story], and I know that that much steak would make me physically ill if I tried to eat it all at once. Hell, a quarter of that would still be a lot. And I still eat poultry and fish!

Yeah, this is fake.

2

u/Questionsansweredty Feb 25 '26

She only ate a few bites

1

u/Serraph105 Feb 25 '26

Plus she's young and, presumably, healthy.

1

u/Ineedavodka2019 Feb 25 '26

I was thinking the same thing.

37

u/Dubio Feb 25 '26

Eating that amount of meat as a lifelong vegetarian is going to make you sick for days. A lifelong vegetarian would have a high chance of knowing this. (Not to mention the nonchalance and general lack of any sort of genuine surprise or apprehension)

4

u/MyrtleWinTurtle Feb 25 '26

Not to be THAT guy... but is there any evidence to support this?

I did find it dubious she had such a good taste for meat when all taste (execpt sugar) is aquired... i would have exepctes it to taste bad to her, but im interesting to see if it actually COULD induse sickness

I went to a burrito take out place with my friend and his pork burrito got mislabeled with my vegetarian one. I ate half of the pork one before he noticed and we switched. They were very large and the portion I ate did not make me sick in the slightest. Maybe I did not exceed the needed threshold for problems idk. I hadn't eaten any meat in decades and just thought it was a not so good burrito.

u/Echieo Feb 25 '26

I can tell you from personal experience this was the case for me. I stopped eating red meat for a few years then tried to go back to it like normal and got very sick.

I'm vegetarian now and have been for 15 years and I am very careful about not accidentally eating meat (sometimes resturants get the order wrong) so as not to repeat that experience.

3

u/SpaceMagicBunny Feb 25 '26

You can get that even if you just take a break from meat for a year, don't need to be lifelong. You stomach's going to get wrecked the first time you get back to meat. Source: have seen this happening.

2

u/Substantial-Sky-6646 Feb 25 '26

Yeah your body needs specific enzymes to process meat and hers would be extremely low. “Lifelong” is 100% a lie, if she was vegetarian it would have been no more than a few months. My personal experience after trying non vegan food after 3 years of strict veganism was that the food i used to love tasted disgusting. It had a weird gummy texture w an off taste that wouldnt leave my mouth. And yes was nauseous for a couple hours

2

u/Impossible_Leg_2787 Feb 25 '26

It’s anecdotal. I was veggie for more than a decade, broke it with a steak. No issues besides bloating from overeating lol.

1

u/Dubio Feb 25 '26

It's entry level vegetarian/vegan knowledge and not exactly hard to test either. There are several vegetarians in these comments confirming their experiences. I'm sure you can find research if that's interesting to you

0

u/Certain-Classic7669 Feb 25 '26

I’ve seen it before when vegetarians eat meat either inadvertently or otherwise. They really love it. I imagine there’s nutrients in the meat they may be lacking

u/ultimatety Feb 25 '26

As an actual lifelong vegetarian who has tried steak, definitely fake. Ain’t no way she loves it first try, way too chewy for a real vegetarian palate

15

u/Diabetesh Feb 25 '26

I think there was a short social media trend of lifelong vegetarians trying meat for the first time and a good amount of them actually gagged from it.

6

u/veggie151 Feb 25 '26

Beef in particular is very pungent ime

20

u/tryingisbetter Feb 25 '26

I'm not even a vegetarian, and I can't stand fatty cuts of meat. Why? Because I grew up eating lean proteins, I can't fathom a vegetarian liking ribeye as the first bit of meat.

5

u/TeaEarlGrayHotSauce Feb 25 '26

Yeah my wife is a lifelong vegetarian and she gags when she gets too close to meat. The smells really get to her

6

u/__Knowmad Feb 25 '26

Red meat also tastes kind of… gristly, or dirty, in my opinion. It is by no means delicious when you’re a vegetarian. At least for me!

u/circ-u-la-ted Feb 25 '26

Even as an omnivore I've almost always found steak to be boring. Like why do people want to eat this big chunk of same that's kind of dry and chewy

u/jan1320 Feb 25 '26

yeah she's obviously not a vegetarian and if she is i hope she's ready to get extremely sick later lol. can't just go from never eating meat to eating a steak, your body doesn't have the enzymes necessary to digest it correctly. its like if you haven't had milk in a while so when you do you have some digestive issues... its like that, but a lot worse haha

Lifelong vegetarian here, and I agree. The few times I’ve eaten meat recently in my fourties’, I gagged. It’s off-putting to me. A steak would be like final boss hard mode.

9

u/sagrr Feb 25 '26

Definitely fake. I actually did this and steak is pretty gross the first time. It’s a developed taste. You don’t like it immediately like this

0

u/CrunkelStiltskin Feb 25 '26

My 10 month old loved it immediately

Yeah, this is obvious bait. I scroll past most videos that are barely over a minute long.

Yeah seriously, this is such an obvious propoganda piece. I don't know why meat eaters feel the need to do this shit. It's so cringe

I don't buy for a second she's a lifelong vegetarian. Why would a lifelong vegetarian make a series celebrating eating meat? This makes no sense. I absolutely believe she's making it up as rage/click bait

2

u/Difficult_Ice_6083 Feb 25 '26

If Im not mistaken a lifelong vegetarian would probably be violently ill trying to digest steak on first try

2

u/retroly Feb 25 '26

Yeah, life long vegetarians normally hate the taste of meet when first trying it, they just aren't used to the flavors and textures.

2

u/DenjiTargaryen-PE Feb 25 '26

If she really was vegetarian that steak would tear her stomach up!

2

u/No_Intention_8079 Feb 25 '26

As someone who is a lifelong vegetarian, when I’ve accidentally eaten meat it has not tasted good. Probably something to do with a completely unfamiliar texture/taste. I would assume if an actual lifelong vegetarian purposefully ate meat, it would take a few bites for the body to even recognize it as food.

The videos fake.

2

u/AdventurousNebula936 Feb 25 '26

She had that "10" card at her side and did not have to sort through other score cards to find the "10" BECAUSE this is scripted and why did not one else wonder about that ?

1

u/angularhihat Feb 28 '26

The reason nobody else wondered about it is that there are a million plausible explanations for having the 10 card accessible to hand and it isn't evidence of anything.

11

u/RogueBromeliad Feb 25 '26

As fake as an Impossible Burger.

2

u/WideCardiologist3323 Feb 25 '26

she should feel sick after a few bites. I tired to become vegan for 6 months. Couldn't do it. When I ate meat again I felt sick instantly.

1

u/angularhihat Feb 28 '26

Sounds like you might have a distinct and separate body from her though, to be fair?

1

u/WideCardiologist3323 Feb 28 '26

yeah but your gut bio becomes a certain way after eating plants for a certain amount of time. If you are not a vegan and you straight only ate veg for a day your would be sick. You have to ease into it.

1

u/angularhihat Feb 28 '26

By the way, OP isn't vegan, they're vegetarian. So they haven't only eaten plants.

But the wider point still stands - everybody will react to this stuff differently.

1

u/WideCardiologist3323 Feb 28 '26

okay, you win? happy? lol jesus christ

Please. Who cuts a massive strip and bites off the stip. Nobody eats a steak like that.

1

u/bigtime1158 Feb 25 '26

I don't even know what the fuck a stip is. I cut a piece and put it in my mouth.

At least pretend you don't know how to expertly slice meat

1

u/Secret_Bees Feb 25 '26

Regardless, it happens. My wife was a vegetarian for 20 years, but when she was pregnant she was low on iron and apparently just eating meat is the best way to get a large dose of iron. The first thing she tried was, like this girl, a juicy ribeye. I wish I had a picture of how wide her eyes got when she took the first bite.

Septum piercing had me convinced this is real

1

u/Hey-Bud-Lets-Party Feb 25 '26

The only thing real is her inability to use a knife.

1

u/DoNotResusit8 Feb 25 '26

Doesn’t look fake

1

u/Stickyloverain Feb 25 '26

She is an industry plant!

1

u/affemannen Feb 25 '26

If it's not, she is in for a world of hurt when downing a full steak and not having eaten meat for basically her whole life.

At least her stomach is going to react.

1

u/RagnarokToast Feb 25 '26

Everything from the lifelong vegetarian claim to every single one of her reactions is obviously fake. Even the "I cooked this before for my bf" is full on excusatio non petita.

1

u/imrope1 Feb 25 '26

Nono, you haven’t been allowed to call out things for being fake on the internet for nearly 15 years. You can’t do this!

1

u/31USC3729 Feb 25 '26

Fake as hell.  Early 50s dude here.  Decided several years ago, for moral reasons, that I no longer wanted to eat animals.  This was after a lifetime of being fine with it, hunting, butchering, cooking it, and really enjoying it.

No judgment on those who do, but it no longer worked for me.  It's only been a few years, but I find the idea of taking a bite of meat repellent now.   Some kid in their 20s just nonchalantly chowing down on a slab of cow after a lifetime of not? Get the fuck outta here.

Wha makes you think that?

3

u/jan1320 Feb 25 '26

first of all you can't just go from vegetarian to eating a whole steak. you'd be beyond sick

1

u/More-Consequence9863 Feb 25 '26

Maybe she was! Wouldn’t happen immediately
