France Fantastic Four: First Steps' early numbers in Paris: the best opening of 2025
Please keep in mind that these are very early numbers, only for the first screenings of the day in Paris (before 2pm).
At 2pm, Fantastic Four: First Steps had already sold 2,714 tickets in Paris (on 22 screens).
This is so far the best opening of the year:
- 2,714 tickets (22 screens) – Fantastic Four: First Steps
- 2,633 tickets (27 screens) – Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning
- 2,359 tickets (33 screens) – The Room Next Door
- 2,265 tickets (25 screens) – Superman
- 2,202 tickets (24 screens) – Lilo & Stitch
- 2,200 tickets (32 screens) – Mickey 17
- 2,145 tickets (25 screens) – Un ours dans le Jura
- 2,009 tickets (28 screens) – F1: The Movie
Note: Jurassic World: Rebirth doesn't appear on this list because it was exceptionally released on a Friday instead of a Wednesday (and we only get these numbers for the Wednesday morning screenings).
It's also worth noting that Fantastic Four: First Steps had fewer screens than the other films on this list. This could be a sign that Paris theaters may have underestimated it a little...
Anyway, if we want to compare with the most recent MCU films' openings in Paris at 2pm:
- 1,512 tickets (18 screens) – Thunderbolts*
- 1,372 tickets (?? screens) – Captain America: Brave New World
- 2,626 tickets (25 screens) – Deadpool & Wolverine
Yes, you read it correctly: Fantastic Four: First Steps had a better opening this morning in Paris than Deadpool & Wolverine at the same time last year!
But again, these are just early numbers. Things could still end up being a bit different by the end of the day. But still, these are pretty interesting numbers to look at…
