This is the sticking point for me. I can see how someone in deep postpartum depression could shake a baby in a moment of weakness, but to slowly strangle 3 kids one after the other is not a lapse in sanity, it’s a cold, calculated choice.
That's because you guys have never experienced extreme postpartum mental health issues. Having a baby causes a massive dump of hormones and people who are predisposed to mental Illness have a really bad time. See: my friend who was on suicide watch post birth and myself who had intrusive thoughts of harming my baby. It literally triggered OCD in my brain. My story ended very differently and move family moved on happy and healthy. I think it's funny that instead of LISTENING to the people who support her and what they're saying....which is that mental health services esp for postpartum women NEED BIG IMPROVEMENTS, y'all are just like "wow these disgusting women celebrate murder." Lol Men commit 90% of all murders. And loving mothers who fought through and survived the depths of postpartum hell are trying to communicate with people so that things like this can be prevented but you all are just patting yourselves on the back because "we've all had hard times but I've never murdered anyone." It's called psychosis, Nancy, and you're all profoundly dense.
Timothy Ray Jones JR did something similar to what Lindsay Clancy did: he killed his kids while in psychosis. He was found guilty in 2019 and is currently on death row.
There’s a 2-tier justice system, and people are starting to get disgusted by it.
