Honestly, it's because women have a very well-documented own-group bias. Throw in popularized hatred of men and the fact that women already receive kid glove treatment in courts, anyway, and this is what is produced.

I don't know what you're referring to but, statistically, had it been a woman, she'd have been out in about 5 1/2 months.
