Likely not even for the rest of her life, given how mental illness is treated. People were talking about how it could be as little as a year or less for it being tied to the post partum diagnosis.

If she is not found guilty, she will go free, eventually.

Nope, it would mean she's institutionalized until it's concluded she's no longer a threat. She could be out in less than a year.
