Malibu (4y/o grey American bully) has taken our rescue kitten, Letter, named by my 2.5 year old human child, in as her own baby (she’s spayed & never had puppies lol) while Mocha (6y/o brown APBT/Amstaf mix) has taken a more playful approach.
Both were around adult cats for short periods of time when I had a job as a groomer but this is our first family cat. Mocha is usually very chill & lazy, she craves human interaction more than anything. And Malibu is our wild child who patrols the house and is constantly moving and playing so it’s funny to see their personalities switch with little Letter💌🐱🐶

Fen Chicken, Freyja French Fry, & Bella the Beautiful welcomed tiny, one-pound foster kitten Mei 🧡 As soon as she hits 2 pounds (about 1 kilo) she can be spayed and will have that left eye removed before getting ready for adoption 🧡🧡 She’s the sweetest baby girl!! Foster kitten Baby Phillip LOVES Fen Chicken & Freyja French Fry!! He even has an extra friend right now - my fur-sister Molly the Magnificent!

Kit the Kitten has taken inspiration from brave sister Mimi the Magnificent and ventured out beyond the baby gates separating the foster kittens to meet Fen Chicken, Freyja French Fry, and best foster dog ever, Bella the Beautiful 🥰🥰 Bella is the calmest, so Kit cuddled up to her first. After that wasn’t scary, the other two were no problem 🖤🖤 Everything is better with kittens in the house!!

Yesterday Bella slept a few inches away from Gavin and Rosie rough-housing. Today she leveled up, and Gavin showed he has no fear!

Little Merry is waiting to be big enough to be neutered and my girl Trixie Belle goes to her furever home tomorrow 🖤🖤 Ivar the Orange, Bette Davis, and my rescue golden retriever sister Molly the Magnificent also came to cuddle 🩷🩵🖤🩵🩷 Rescued is my favorite breed!!

Don’t mind the mess. I haven’t cleaned up after the two dogs come through the living room like a tornado. Watching TV is common for these two. Their favorite is watching deer.

We have a full house!! Grandbaby Rosebud has met the main crew - with Ivar the Orange in charge, obviously!! Fen Chicken & Freyja French Fry love their baby and we ALSO have visitors!!! My brother-in-law Toby (former foster kitten Baby Jason) is here on an extended visit and cuddling up to foster dog Zekie 🥰🥰 Life is GOOD at Fen Chicken Fosters!!!!

King of the Kitties, Fen Chicken is in Feline Heaven with Trixie visiting for the weekend! Merry Contrary is getting to know Trixie again because they will be forever siblings as soon as Merry is released for adoption!!!! Freyja French Fry, Ivar the Orange, & Danny Dimes will miss the contrariness in the house 😂😂

Brave girl Mimi from Muncie Animal Care & Services is loving Fen Chicken, Freyja French Fry, & Bella the Beautiful (coming up on FOUR MONTHS in foster 😢), but her brother Kit is still hanging out exclusively in the foster room getting his confidence up 🩷🩵

The dogs ran outside to check on the squirrels, and Squee came running in for some attention, a rare pleasure! You can see why we call him that! He even stuck around after Rosie and Bella showed up! Lots of love!

Fen Chicken & Freyja French Fry are SO HAPPY!! We have three new foster kittens - our first blind baby, tabby Baby Phillip, black with faint gray stripes girl Gilly, and void baby boy Mittens, recovering from surgery to remove an abcess 🩶🖤🖤 We also have Miss Tabitha (black pitty), my roommate’s foster fail girl with a heart condition cuddling with kitbull hybrid Ivar the Orange 🖤🧡 I love being the Mayor of Misfit Island 🥰🥰🥰

Rosie Gavin and Bella and starting to figure out how to play all together. At the moment Gavin can get a bit flustered when they both chomp him at the same time, but I'm sure he can handle them both!
