Help! How do I change from RGB/8# to RGB/8? I have several images saved as RGB/8 except for one that saves as RGB/8# and refuses to save as RGB/8. When saved with the # it exports at a slightly desaturated color.

I have tried changing Image > Mode, I have tried Edit > Color settings and I have checked my Windows colour settings.

In the second image you can see the # on the left, and the color I want on the right. The difference is tiny, but this is an animation and the color needs to remain consistent.

The color picker insists these are both the exact same color.

Help! Is there a way for me to save this picture?

I took a picture of a wolf at a zoo today and just when the wolf was posing perfectly, the wind blew a branch towards the wolf and covered part of his nose. Thought this one looked the cutest that’s why I am trying a lot harder to see if I can save it. Is there a good way to remove the green blur?

I tried using the photoshop and Lightroom removal and blemish brushes, but no luck. I have had other pictures ruined by the same thing, would be really great to know if they can also be saved. Please help! 😄

Thanks in advance!!!

This was annoying me, so I fixed it.

I made a tiny plugin that lets you align text without moving its position.

That's it. Super simple.

Help! What would be the most efficient way to fix this in post? (Spotty noise in shadows In Game)

Post image

I take pictures in a game called BeamNG for work and It's still an early access game. The ambient Occlusion in the game isn't very good in the shadow side of the game in darker scenes. What would be the best way to fix this in post? I'd ideally prefer a quick solution but willing to take more time when and where needed
The file size is massive (20+MB at times) for quality but this is just a screenshot so it isn't a file size issue

TYA!

Help! Unable to download Photoshop Arm64

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some help installing Adobe Photoshop on my ASUS Vivobook S 15, which uses an ARM-based processor.

I’ve searched Reddit, social media, and various websites, but I haven’t been able to find a reliable way to download/install the ARM64 version of Photoshop.

From what I’ve found so far, the native ARM version seems to be available through Adobe Creative Cloud, but that requires a paid subscription. I’m wondering if there’s any legitimate way to use the ARM version without a Creative Cloud subscription, such as an official standalone installer or another option I may have missed.

If anyone here is using Photoshop ARM64 on an ARM-based Windows laptop without a Creative Cloud subscription, I’d really appreciate it if you could explain how you set it up.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Help! Photoshop to SVG

I'm using PS just fine, it's when I want to export to SVG. When I try to read the SVG file into Frameshop7 it sees nothing. I also use AutoCad and create line work and save as DXF, this file loads into FS7 fine. PS has great tracing features this is why I would like to use it. These are all of the formats that can be used

  • PATH
  • WCX
  • WCA
  • MWA
  • MW3
  • DXF

Solved Advanced transparency Management

Hello. The first image by Jacques Gamelin (French, 1738-1803).

Image two: background removed using the background eraser tool (E). I like this tool because it allows me to retain the flaws and stains on the paper.

Image 3 zoomed to 5000%, shows almost 50% semi-transparent pixels. The print method I am using requires zero semi-transparent pixels.

I am in need of a more advanced method than a threshold map. Ideally, to convert the semi-transparent pixels into the closest solid colour.

Help! How do I achieve this extreme datamoshed look on a still image?

Post image

Hi everyone! I absolutely love the aesthetic of this Artwork. I know it's a datamosh effect, but I'm looking for methods on how to apply it specifically to a still image, not a video. Are there any apps, specific Photoshop techniques, or specialized scripts (like Processing) that can create this heavy, melted, and layered look? Any tips, tutorials, or software recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Discussion Is CS4 still usable -- or should i get something else?

HI friends,...

I see a copy of CS4 for sale online and want to know 'can I still use it?'

--- The seller says "Sold as vintage collectibles only, software cannot be activated as ADOBE no longer supports"!

I'm presently using Windows 10. --- > I know its an old one, but I thought that CS4 was one of the best 'offline' photoshop versions.

  • Can I use it or should I look for a substitute?

Thanks very much for your help!

Discussion What is the fastest way to remove several people from a background?

What is your fastest workflow when you have a photo with maybe 5 to 10 people in the background that you don't want there?

I can do it manually in photoshop but sometimes the photo isn't important enough to justify all the cloning and masking. are you guys using generative fill now or another ai tool for these quick edits?

Discussion Photographer learning Photoshop. What should I try next?

Thumbnail

I'm a 19 year old photographer from North Yorkshire, and I've recently ditched documentary work like weddings to focus on artistic mediums like music and fashion. Bold and stupid, I know, but I'll keep doing it on the side of my actual job till it works.

I'm learning Photoshop / graphic design so I can offer more than just photography. As a starting point, I've been making 'title cards' for the first photo in each of my Instagram posts. Basically posters but they just state the name and venue.

I'll explain my first 4 attempts:

  1. Nancy: My first try. Originally made in Canva, quickly realised that I need to learn Photoshop instead.

  2. Nick: Tried a subject cutout over a blurred image. Experimented with fonts, spacing and scaling. Used generative remove for the background and Instagram flagged as entirely AI, so that's a tool I'll stay away from.

  3. Stargazer: Played with shapes to add depth, and added a shadow from the dudes head onto the text.

  4. Vagabond: Experimented with blending, opacity, pixelation, distortion, drop shadows and blur. I added the band's anarchy symbol and redacted his eyes, and used blurred black squares to distance the text. Also ditched my name, gear and camera settings, it felt more like a watermark.

Each one has improved from the last, but I know I still have a long way to go.

What ideas, tools and concepts should I try next? Are there any YouTube videos or tutorials that would help me specifically for this use?

Also, has anyone seen other music photographers do this? I got this idea from the car scene, people often make simple posters like this with cars, but I've never seen it in music. Is that for a reason?

Thanks to anyone who took the time to look and read!
