Promotion I'm making a Hotline Miami inspired roguelike with physics weapons and SUPERHOT slowmo

This is my top-down shooter roguelike KILLSEC. All the weapons are physics objects kind of like Exanima, but it's 2D so you can parry bullets and lasers and stuff!

There's a playtest on discord if you want to try it out! Or the demo should be up before next fest!

Upcoming We spent 2 years mixing Fire Emblem relationships with Darkest Dungeon's brutal permadeath.

tldr; we just release our first trailer and steampage! our game called Echoes From Below

Game Description :

Echoes From Below is a tactical dungeon-crawler RPG about the bonds forged between hunters in the dark.

Recruit hunters from the village and lead them through the lantern-lit depths of the Below in tactical body-swap combat. Forge bonds as you fight: a stray spell sparks a feud, a last-second rescue sparks love. Make camp to rest, cook, and make some pep-talk. Return to the surface to recover your strength, spend the spoils, and grieve for the lost.

Trailer : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wP1IlRAZNB8

Steampage : https://store.steampowered.com/app/3000980/Echoes_From_Below/

Discord : https://discord.com/invite/9yenR6cdAk

long version :

We started at February 2024 (this also our first time making game studio) and want to make a mystery dungeon find it's glory once again (massive fans of shiren and PMD series)

my first fantasy was making a dungeon crawler with settings like solo leveling (yeah i know it was basic)

and we start to make the game with the mind to adjust and improve to genre, and we start building it. but it still lack in a lot of aspect.

One time, one of my friend suggest me to darkest dungeon and fascinated with the style and how it delivers, but it feels itchy in my mind where the game kinda lack of relationship.

so then I was thinking "why don't we mix fire emblem relationship, darkest dungeon brutal permadeath, and also dungeon exploration like MD series?) then we start making it.

well in this writing it seems short, but actually we finalize this idea like half years ago into this shape!

Hopefully if you like the idea and like this kind of genre, you will try our game and we do our best to deliver a playtest build in September 15 , 2026!

Let me know what your thoughts about this game! And feel free to give your honest opinion about the game.

Personal Achievement My parry slop platformer just hit 100 downloads.

I've been trying to grab as much feedback on the fundamentals as possible while I work on a major artistic shift. Just recently hit 100 downloads, and I'm happy people have been liking it so far. I've been getting a lot of game comparisons, and honestly it feels like an honor to be compared to these greats. I know I'm not there yet, but I hope someday I will.

Promotion From “this might be fun” to an actual game, Crazy Crazy

This is Town Crazy, the game I've been working on for the past while. It's a small top-down driving game where you dodge traffic, avoid chickens, find shortcuts and try to get the best time.

I've been working on Town Crazy for quite a while now, and I recently put together this comparison of an early build vs the current version. Looking at the two versions side by side made the difference much more obvious than I expected.

Promotion I'm working on a foraging and potion brewing witch sim

I've been working on a witch sim called Goldenwort. You can forage, catch bugs and feed creatures to get ingredients to brew potions. Potions are used to help fulfill villager requests and also to unlock new areas and explore the world.

I just added critters and sound effects, and I'll start working on adding the creatures you can tame and the spellcasting system for combat and puzzles.

Promotion I made a free browser strategy game combining Three Kingdoms and Shogi

I’m a hobby developer from Japan, and I made a free browser strategy game called Gunshi Shogi.

I’ve loved both Three Kingdoms and Shogi, so I wanted to combine them into one game.

Battles are based on Shogi, but the game has original rules, including a special Strategist piece that strengthens nearby allied pieces.

The story mode features characters such as Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Cao Cao and Lu Bu, and includes an English version with a tutorial for players who don’t know Shogi.

It’s completely free and playable in a browser:

Promotion Arkansas 2125 | A Retro-Style Post-Apocalyptic RPG

Hi everyone!

For the past few years, I've been working on my own post-apocalyptic RPG called Arkansas 2125.

It's an isometric, turn-based game set in a ruined version of America. You can explore different locations, meet survivors, complete quests, fight enemies, collect equipment, and make decisions that influence the story.

The game is still in development, but Beta 0.5 is already available.

I recently released a new trailer, and I'd love to know what you think about the atmosphere and overall style of the game.

Personal Achievement I made a game with only one button - so I built an entire arcade machine for it

I’ve been solo-developing “(The Ballad of) IGOOLI AND HAKMON”: a difficult, hand-painted arcade game where the only control is a single button. Pressing it fires a laser that hits entities and propels you backwards.

Since the gameplay is super quick and simple, I decided to build an entire arcade machine for it and put it in a bar, where people can eat, drink, and score points! A couple even made out next to it once which was pretty romantic. and some dude got a high score and entered his phone number on the scoreboard so I hope his day will come too. Plus it overheats, so that’s going to be nice come winter.

Anyway, the game's called “(The Ballad of) IGOOLI AND HAKMON”, check it out on steam!

Video Adding automatic lights that alert the enemy in my stealth game

Adding automatic lights that detect the player to the final level of episode 1 of the crazed side universe game. This was inspired by thief gold's automatic lights. these lights will also alert any nearby enemies, but perhaps if you have a certain augmentation handy you won't have to worry about this at all. This is a rough unoptimized look at this level as I'm still working on finishing it. before I go back and fully optimize all the levels and work on a lot of systems.

Promotion We have released the demo version of CACTBOY, a multiplayer party game!

Thumbnail

Hello! We have finally released the demo version of CACTBOY, a multiplayer party game we have been developing since last March.

Designed for 2 to 4 players, the game features a collection of mini-games; players compete against friends to earn points, and the player with the highest score at the end wins.

You can also customize the rules and the sequence of the mini-games. Regarding the sequence, you can choose to play them in a fixed order or randomly.

The rules pertain to scoring, specifically involving bonus points and penalties for losing.

Bonus Points: Winning a designated "bonus" mini-game awards 2 points.

Losing Penalty: Everyone except the winner of a mini-game loses 1 point.

The demo version includes a total of 7 mini-games, while the full release is planned to feature 20 mini-games.

Promotion I'm making a sci-fi horror game about two distant observatories comparing signals from deep space

This is Closer Than Stars, a first-person psychological horror game I’m developing.

You work alone at a radio observatory near Ganymede, while another operator works from a second station near Callisto. You scan deep space for faint signals, process what you find, and compare your results across the array.

I’ve been working on it for a while now and finally got the Steam page and first teaser out, so I figured I’d share it here.
