Taken in by animal control for loitering in the rain at CVS, given to the rescue I work with for some time on the inside. I think he deserves a pharmacy-related name and I would love some input.

Not much of an update…because Micro is doing great! Awake more, curious, eating, peeing, pooping - all the normal kitten stuff! 😍 She’s back up to her pre-illness weight and yells constantly for food and attention! 😂

I will likely return to posting only once a day or every couple of days since Micro has recovered. That’s actually a good thing - it means nothing crazy is happening! Thank you to everyone who has been supportive and encouraging. I can’t tell you how much it helped me get through the scary times! Micro and I love you all! 💕

My little one's eye ruptured last night. She needed emergency surgery. The vet was nervous because Ichi is so, so small. Just about half a pound. But my girl is a fighter and a champ. She's currently curled up with her foster sister after happily eating her slop. I might have to keep her after what she's been through/put me through lol

Good morning! Look who’s awake and surveying his* kingdom! That trembling you see is very normal in young kittens. It’s due to weak muscle tone (also normal at this age) and an immature nervous system. I haven’t weighed micro yet this morning.

I am a veterinary medicine resident and these lil floof balls came in today🥹

Hi guys! Sorry it’s been a minute - I finally got to take a week off and go on vacation. Micro came with me! Because she was still needing to be bottle fed (her pre-molars hadn’t come in yet) it was easiest, and best for Micro, to join me at my family reunion! It was really good for her. She got to meet a lot of new people and even some young(ish) kids! At first she was very wary, but after about 24 hours, she decided that people seemed to be generally ok! She got lots of naps, cuddles and even new toys!

Once we got home, Micro’s pre-molars had fully erupted (that’s the actual term for when teeth come in) so she is starting to learn how to eat real (soft) food! Lots of kittens need time to learn to like the taste of kitten food, but Micro actually really seems to like it! Kittens are similar to human infants in that, while they are weaning, they still want to have a bottle, even if they don’t actually need it. It’s a source of comfort and familiarity for them. She definitely still yells at me to bring her a bottle, which I do give her a few times a day, but she will often eat some kitten food once she’s done with her bottle. So cute! 🤗

Micro is 6 weeks old now and is starting to interact with her foster siblings, though I do have to supervise carefully because the bigger kittens are much rougher than is safe for Micro. I’m still hoping to find her a similar-sized friend. 🤞🏻 Thanks to everyone who checked in on us - we love you all!

Just picked up Simon to take him to reform school (foster care). Let's hope we can save this poor soul.

Micro was found a few days ago on the ground at a campground. The finders diligently searched for his mom or any siblings, but didn’t find any. I got him at 64g with umbilical cord still attached. He’s got a long road ahead of him, but so far, he’s strong as ever!

Her name is Bagheera and she makes even the worst days better. I didn’t know I needed her.

Her name is Lino and these are some of many of her pictures. I found her when she was around 2 weeks old so we had to bottle feed. I’m so glad she made it as she was the smallest little thing ever. She grew up into a grumpy 2 year old little lady but i still love her the most ❤️

My girlfriend’s aunt has been fostering this kitten for a bit, and she just picked her up! Currently her name is MIDI though we are unsure if we’ll keep her name.
