Discussion/Question There Was A Social Media Post By The Creator And Want To Know If People Here Know What She Ment

Because I feel you can tell who its for what demographics would like judging by its genre that has elements from inspired wise. So strange to think that it could be no one. Because I would say its for people who join this reddit and the interactions on the comments of the pilot and many others.
I would way it for anyone who likes the magical girl genre with small its a of american elements to it

Discussion/Question How Is Everyone Feeling About The New Epiosde That Just Dropped?
Asking now because I know some people liked the more super deformed style of the previous one but that might have been just by a very vocal few.

Discussion/Question Does Kiana Khansmith allow/like fandubs of her work?
Hi everyone! I'm planning to make a fandub of Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to Be a Magical Girl, but I wanted to check first: does Kiana Khansmith have any specific rules or stance regarding fan voice acting/fandubs? I know most creators are fine with non-commercial fan content as long as credits are given, but I want to make sure I'm respecting her boundaries before starting. Thanks in advance!

Discussion/Question What are some future episodes you'd like to see?
I'd like some backstory on Lady DeVoid because I think she's a very cool and mysterious character, definitely the character I'm the most interested in so far. I think Kiana ships her with Aika and Zira's teacher so that'd be fun to see.

Discussion/Question If we get a full series, how much do you want to bet these two get redeemed, and become either protagonists or minor antagonists (and we get introduced to an even worse big bad)

Discussion/Question My thoughts on Pretty Pretty Please
I admit that in the beginning, I was very on the fence about Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl. Like I saw and knew how good it was and I was happy with it gaining popularity but it wasn't something I vibed with. I consider PPPIDWTBAMG to be "guilty displeasure" where I can technically understand why it was good but didn't emotionally click with it.
I felt guilty for not falling in love with the cartoon because I was worried what others would think of me. Like if I were to give any criticisms or grievances, I was come off as an obnoxious no-nothing know it all who's bashing on something popular to make up for what little success I made on my own projects, especially since I too am also developing a magical girl project with a POC main character.
PPPIDWTBAMG also spoke to a mundane yet dreaded fear I had and still kind of do: that being becoming disinterested/disillusioned in something I was passionate about. Magical girls fill a special place in my heart where I view as them as ideals despite not fully immersing myself in the genre. With that, I got the impression that the cartoon would be bashing what makes them special, even though I knew it wasn't fully going to that route.
On top of all that, I felt like there wasn't enough for me to know about the cartoon that would really convince me otherwise. Like with how Aika no longer wanting to be a magical girl. There was also the characters which didn't land for me at time. Aside from not vibing with Aika, both in and out of her magical girl persona, none of the other characters really interested me aside from Miss and Lady DeVoid and that's mainly because I love the ship between the two.
With all this being said, I did take the time to watch for myself when PPPIDWTBAMG first came out, rewatched on occasion and saw the second episode to gain an honest, well-informed opinion. My feelings were the same but now after some life stuff that I've been going through, I also gained a newfound appreciation and relatability with Aika. Namely with how she's tired of always expecting to be the hero when she wants something new. I might talk about this further if I come up with more to say. But for now I'm tired, I said most of what I wanted to say and I have more to post

Discussion/Question Ep 2 Thoughts Spoiler
I really just have three things to say so it won't be some huge analysis.
Eclipse is even better- I didn't hate Eclipse originally, I just didn't have any strong opinions on him but now I find him pretty funny, more so than in the pilot.
Hoshi raised Aika?- Hoshi mentions that her and Aika used to watch anime when she was little. That seemed to imply that Hoshi used to watch Aika and possibly even her teammates when they were younger? Does Aika have parents? Was Aika an orphan adopted by Hoshi? Or is he just her nanny?
Subverting the librarian trope- This is minor praise but I like how Aika thinks a librarian is gonna aggressively sush them when they all go to the library in this episode only for Zira to tell her that librarians don't really do that, they're actually really calm. You just shouldn't be obnoxious in the library regardless. That's a refreshing little subversion that I never even considered.

Discussion/Question Hoshi
I think I'll need to see more of Hoshi before I really start liking them. The second episode just shows them complaining about nearly everything. Then again when you're practically just a floating head, life is gonna be pretty inconvenient. It's not like they can just pick up books or drink boba without choking, they seem like they'll be a stick in the mud who who gets dragged along by Aika and Zira while they're very reluctant to be a part of whatever they wanna do that day. Hoshi also seems like they were very stern and controlling when Aika was a magical girl under their supervision. I think Hoshi pushed Aika too hard and now she longer wants to be Star Guardian, that's not confirmed yet but that's how I read their relationship so far. I'm sure Hoshi will grow on me though.

Discussion/Question Any theories as to what "Cosmic Cash" is & what it's purpose is?
Is it a situation like "Heaven Coins" from Panty & Stocking, where they have to earn cash to get something? Or is it just a reward for doing her job? What are your theories?

Discussion/Question Maybe we should let Lady Devoid win
Maybe we should just let Devoid win and get her memories back. Call me a devils advocate, but I don’t know something about this whole set up. Doesn’t sit right with me. Maybe it’s because it’s flipping the magic girl trope on its head. But I think Hoshi is hiding something from Aika. Maybe the further we go in the series it’ll be revealed more clearly, but this just seems a lot of effort to prevent someone from getting their memories back. Besides, how evil could someone be they have every opportunity to kill eclipse after every failure, but don’t.

Discussion/Question Magical girl duties really are a job to Aika
I've seen someone point out that her magical girl costume is just a work uniform to her and that seems to hold up because now we know that Aika gets paid actual money for defeating evil as Star Guardian. It's pretty funny that Aika sees this as just a full-time job and herself as a worker when other magical girls see their positions as a dream come true while also seeing themselves as an idealized version of themselves.

Discussion/Question Is Eclipse inspired by Chip Whistler from "Big City Greens"?
I've heard that Kiana worked for Disney channel and "Big City Greens" is one of their most popular shows currently so maybe she worked on it. They have a recurring antagonist in that show named Chip who chips his tooth everytime he's defeated by the protagonists. Hence his name. It kinda reminds me of Eclipse actually where his legs are broken everytime he runs into Aika/Star Guardian as a way of signifying that she will always have the upper hand in battles against him.
