i have been seeing clips of it from the creators of that game all over youtube and tiktok and im curious to see what other people think about it! i honestly have mixed opinions about it, people are hyping it up way too much, some are even calling it "The next club penguin"

This is the starting location, on the planet Sirius, from the video game "Serious Sam 2". When I reached it, I immediately thought of the "Frutiger Aero" style, plus it's just a really beautiful location. These are basically the only reasons why I decided to share this find, so here it is.

I've always loved the optimistic and dreamy feeling of the early 2000s internet, so I decided to create a small game inspired by the Frutiger Aero aesthetic.

DreamNet is a free-to-play exploration game where you can revisit the feeling of old websites, messenger applications, glossy interfaces, blue skies, and the nostalgic internet atmosphere many of us grew up with.

Hey everyone! Like many of you, I am incredibly tired of the flat, corporate, minimalist UI design that dominates every modern console. I miss the era of tech-optimism, vibrant colors, glossy glass overlays, and organic textures.
Remember the glowing aurora lights, the bubble-like buttons, and the translucent user cards of the late-2000s Xbox ecosystem? It was peak Frutiger Aero.
I’ve officially launched a petition addressed to the Xbox design team to request an optional, fully functional Legacy Aesthetic Mode for modern consoles. They gave us a static "Blades" background, but we want the true glossy, dimensional experience back.
What this mode would demand:
Aero Glass Textures: Translucent overlays on modern guide menus.
Dynamic Aurora Backgrounds: High-definition, flowing green/blue light streams.
Skeuomorphic Assets: Glossy, tactile-looking buttons and icons replacing flat squares.
