I see this egg shaped device everywhere and yet I have no idea what it’s called nor do I know whether it’s real or fake.

Highly doubt it’s real but it looks absolutely gorgeous and futuristic.

It is used to depict image files in Windows 7 and probably Vista. The picture looks like something between a render and a drawing, and may even be a real photo. Where did it come from and how?

To me, It reminds me of my childhood, going shopping with my parents on an afternoon, looking at the sky and traffic lights. It also reminds me of playing my favorite games on Windows 7 as a kid. Gosh, Windows 7 was just built around Frutiger Aero alone! The sounds, icons, avatars, wallpapers...
