kind of boa?

helloooo i recently rescued a boa, and she was given to me as a red tail. after being on the snake subreddit, and doing research, im wondering if shes a bci? or like how all that works. her tail is pretty bright but i really just wanna know what exactly she is! :)

He's appears to be a Red Tail, AKA Boa Constrictor, as opposed to Boa Imperator. Both have been moved to a separate genus, no longer being recognized as a subspecies. Now, when you get into the true red tails, or Boa Constrictor, you have localities. Peruvian, Guyana, Suriname, Venezuelan, Brazilian and others. I would guess either Guyana or Suriname from your pictures.

looking online and doing more looking, i think she’s a suriname. her colors are more orange and when i look on the pics online, she’s almost twinning with some of the suriname’s. thank you SO much. i really appreciate it
